Given the different ages of TSRians, this should be interesting...

For me, it was card games like Cheat and the classics like Solitaire and Blackjack.

Board games - it was again, the classics like Monopoly, Ludo and Snakes and Ladders.

Subbuteo was a good one.

Don't think you'd class it as a board game though.

Board: Warhammer 40K (I have not started playing this again and don't plan to do so unless a online version is made).

Me and my housemates played a lot of card games while I was at uni; most nights assuming we were all at home we'd open a few beers and play loads of different card games. My favourite would probably be Spades (2v2 team), always fun to try and help your teammate out without giving away too much to your opponents, lots of mind-games ensued.

As for board games I'll have to be a total nerd and say Chess. :p: Been playing since I was around 7, so it's always been a hobby.

Cluedo and chess. I'd like to see a game that combines the two. It was the Queen on square b4 with the knife.
