I am the youngest of four siblings in my family and the others have already moved out, I will be going to university in September and my mum and dad will be the only people at home I know I will be okay but my dad works all the time and my mum is home all week due to medical conditions, me and my mum are really close and I’m worried about how me going to university is going to affect her loneliness. Do I go to university or stay home for the sake of my parents ? Help ?

Sometimes you have to be a bit selfish. I would say if you really want to go to uni, go.

if you are really worried about your parents, a compromise might be to go to the uni in your area?

We are all different but i know that my parents would hate themselves if they felt they were holding me back in any way.
