Well he'd only made 8 posts over the few months he's been on this site. Considering about 6 of those have been about how he's so special for knowing a professor, i hope we have scared him off.

I bet he's off crying to his professor about how we are mistreating him, and how he should reject some of us

Bah, just joking, but can they actually do that?

Master Polhem
I hope he royally ****s upp his A-levels.

It won't matter ABB is a really low offer considering I know many people at Imperial who only just managed to get in with 6 or 7 A levels. If he does **** up, though, he'll just go crying to his proffy

It's alright chaps, if he could go crying to his prof (which he can't), I'd trump that mofo! :p: I can undermine and overrule the scumbag!

In just Physics? Generally, it's (at least one) more than that
Can I just steal this thread and ask what people think of the following:

Does it annoy you that Imperial constantly keeps comparing itself to Oxbridge...?

Live does it, the Official Web page does it and the blooming professors, lecturers and other staff do it. I find it highly annoying that we keep comparing ourselves to universities, which for sciences/engineering we are on par with each other (naturally very debatable), yet we seem to have a chip on our shoulder for not having that "Oxbridge" prestige. I think it makes us look rather lame. It would be much nicer if no one really gave a damn and we held our heads upp high instead of this constant bickering.

Imperial has its own prestiege.. i come from a craphole and almost everyone knows imperial as being the best for engineering and science heh:biggrin:

Thats not the point. The point was that they keep comparing themselves to something which really does not matter and elevate Oxbridge to something which it is not in terms of science.
