LSE secret admissions criteria?

Do LSE have any hidden admissions criteria?

Sounds strange, but do they have like a boundary of A*s at GCSE you need to stand a good chance?

Do they prefer Further Maths to single for Econonomics?

Do they like all A grade modules?

Public/state school?

Internationals?

Obviously some are obvious, like of course they prefer all A Grade modules but do they discriminate greatly like Oxbridge? In what ways?

not sure bout the others but people do seem to think 7 A* is the bottom line. also LSE do tend to accept more internationals than other unis but that doesnt mean its a secret criteria.

I think your date of birth has to match a Zionistic mathematical formula, where each digit is mystically interwined with the very fabric of the space-time continuum.

Oh, and at least a B in GCSE Math

I think 7A*s is supposed to be the bottom line but people do get in with less a lot of the time and people like me get rejected. Futher maths for single economics is not a secret, it is pretty much a necessity.

My d.o.b is the 6th January 1990. Does that match the formula?

The stereotype is international, 8 A*s or more.

Thanks. That makes me feel better...not. I tried to tell myself that but I know it isnt; they have loads of good people going there so me not going won't really make much of a difference. I could always try post-grad but i think i'll try oxbridge this time round...

Well, let's have a look-see:

a) 6 x 1 x 90 = 540
b) In 540AD, Pope Vigilius rejected Monophysitism in letters to Emperor Justinian I (apparently)
c) Vigilus was succeeded by Pope Pelagius I
d) Pelagius denied the existence of original sin
e) It would be a sin if you didn't get into LSE
f) ADMITTED!

Bloody hell, congrats!

You have to be a Freeman, Knight's Templar and/or play the banjo.

But not a Charlie Chaplin impersonator. That one only works for Imperial.

Let's see what we can do here:

a) 29 x 2 x 68 = 3944
b) That's > 2008, so 3+9 = 12 & 44 = 1244
c) In 1244AD, the Cathars of Montsegur surrendered after a 9-month siege
d) Siege suggests perserverance
e) WAITING LIST!

Don't give up

Either you've looked at my Facebook and incorrectly mistaken Poirot for Chaplin, or that was a coincidentally appropriate comment. I'm thinking the former.

No I just mean do I definately have a place now, or do I need to notify UCAS or something first?
