Hi I am on the verge of doing my gcse and I am doing cramped revision ( I am in the middle of my mocks) and I am worried about not being able to do english literature for a level as I feel like I am not good enough or I keep going off topic. Can you please check my analysis for love an relationship Love’s Philosphy.

Shelley uses a range of literacy devices to highlight his uncontrolled affectionate feelings towards his beloved. The poet utilises a personification to convey his unconditional desire for his lover. This is transpired in the line “ the fountain will mingle with the river”. The term “mingle” strongly have the connotation of someone being really playful and witty, always wanting to allure others. The river and the fountain can symbolise Shelley and his lover, the poet uses natural elements to indicate the purity and how loving the relationship between them can be. The use of natural elements therefore builds a powerful and vivid image for the reader as they are able to visualise how the poet’s desire for his lover is strong and the use of natural imagery presents to the reader that just like nature being together and harmonising, the poet is trying to imply to his lover that they are bound to be together.
