I've got a question I feel is quite important;
I'm doing the newly reformed A levels where the As exams longer count toward your overall A level grade, but nevertheless my college made us do them anyway just for practice and to filter the E students out of the course.
Some conext before my question
For the 2 of my As exams: aqa sociology (New 2015 spec) and edexcel history (new 2015 spec) I used only revision guides (CGP for sociology, hodder for history. I came out with two B' s and had only just missed the A grade in both subjects because of my own fault for not revising childhood for sociology and America for history.
So anyway my question; can I repeat this tactic (using only revision guides at A2 level) and realistically achieve a B ? Or is it the case that A2 is much much harder in comparison to As and that you need more knowledge? Are my As grades a realistic reflection of what I'd achieve at A level ? And just to remind; these as exams don't count toward my overall A level grade, we retake whatever did at As plus two more subjects
