Does listening to music help when doing work and essays? watch

    • Thread Starter

Lately I have been really struggling with writing my university essays. I have a tendency to overthink everything i write and i most likely end up deleting my work as it doesnt seem good enough. I am thinking that maybe listening to music whilst writing my essays will help block out the thoughts of ' this work isn't good enough' out of my head. Does anyone find music helpful or distracting

I use motivational study music from YouTube that I've converted to mp3 for my iPod.
you could try these. there is so many to choose from you may find one that works.
I use a few different ones depending on my mood, if I'm revising etc.

if they don't work you could try white noise. again there is a lot to try.

I have a similar issue where my mind will wonder if not engrossed in the subject.
