    Hi,
I am a UK citizen by descent (and passport holder) born in an EU country from which I emigrated 3 years ago. In the last 3 years I have completed 2 A levels at a local college attending for 18 months and worked alongside of that. Will I be able to get a maintenance loan, as my having attended college during part of my time here is worrying me.

    Hi doulgerie27,

Just to confirm, are you currently living in the UK?

    Thanks Rona

    Hi doulgerie27,

UK nationals will not be eligible for funding as a home student if they have never resided in the UK.

As you have been living in the UK, you can be confident that you will be eligible for support.

    Thanks Rona
