My best friend suffered a terrible accident that would leave her in hospital for a few months which is obviously during our GCSE exams. I visited her yesterday and she's awfully stressed about them as she thinks they'll use her PPE results or predicted grades of which she isn't proud of. She asked me to talk to her parents about her repeating a year as she said her parents are completely against it. I'm not sure how I'm going to make a difference to her parent's decision and I feel helpless in trying. If that would actually work would the exam boards actually allow her to take her exams a year later? I'm just worried if things don't go to her plans she'll do something stupid.

I don’t really know much, but I know there are some colleges that allow people to do GCSES for a year . Coz my friend was in a similar situation. Though the parents were ok with it.
