    Hi, I have to buy my optometry equipment, I am a second year student and we have had visits from Heine and Keeler. I know Welch Allen also do equipment...not sure what to go with any pro's or con's?

    Much of it comes down to budget and personal preference. I would definitely recommend chatting to your lecturers and older students if you can to see if you can get some recommendations or try out their equipment. I know some students buy second hand on Ebay. It's definitely a good idea to shop around and contact several companies to see where you can get a good deal.
