I just accepted an unconditional offer to study at Edinburgh, and I will be applying for accommodation shortly. I am an international student from Norway so I will be applying to halls. I’ll be studying politics so I’m assuming most of my lectures will be at George square(?) Could anyone tell me a bit about the following halls: (how social etc)
    - Salisbury court (might be a bit out of my price range)
    - Haddington place
    - Brae house
    - Blackfriars street
    - Beaverbank

    Thanks

Yes, you'll be based in George Square/Central Area :borat:

I'm a first-year, however, I can't comment on any of the halls you've listed as I'm not living in them
