i am absolutely outraged at the fact many schools in my local area for their general conversation part during our speaking exams, they have been given the questions their teacher will ask them and are now in the process of learning these few set long answers. the worst part is, the students havent even been told they are cheating, they are blissfully unaware and assume its like last years gcses when quite frankly it is not. Have your schools given out the questions they will ask in the general conversation or not? Please let us know and post on anonymous if you are afraid !

I mean it doesn’t really affect your overall grade anyway you just need to pass it to get the GCSE. The grades are based on your written assessments 😊

We’ve got given our question quite a few months in advance to write, check and learn. Doesn’t every school do this?

each section is worth 25% so the speaking grade contributes to a quarter of the final grade
