Today in biology I messed up an important experiment I have to write up and will be assessed. A month ago I broke some glass tubing.. lets say the teacher wasn't very pleased.
I always seem to fall behind and am always rushing to get things done which only makes me panic and mess up the experiment even more I love science theory and am planning to take science further, I just wish I was better at the practicals. It's like I have no common sense when it comes to that stuff.
Does anyone have any tips for getting better at practicals? Or does it just take time?

What worked for me was going at my own pace. Rewrite out the method in a simple step by step format and then follow it along at a pace you are comfortable with. You won't learn anything and will be prone to more mistakes if you are rushing through an experiment and not focusing enough on the task at hand.

I'd advise going over the practical beforehand and maybe writing out your own list of steps in an order that makes sense to you!
