At some point today I seem to have hurt my tongue. No clue when/how. It's a little after midnight right now and I've been drinking (fanta and water) and haven't eaten anything more than pasta and some birthday cake in the last six or so hours, no problem, but as I was going to bed my tongue went against the roof of my mouth and it hurt a little in one spot. It's at worst irritating and the area is the same size as the entry wound when I accidentally stabbed myself with a sewing needle so it doesn't seem like a huge deal?
Is there anything I can do to prevent it getting worse and does anyone know about healing times? I think I read somewhere tongues are quick healers but IDK for sure.
