    Him wanting to get into nursing but having to drop a levels due to a death in the family as my exams are soon and teachers have told me it’s best I go to collegeI’ve spoken to college and they said that they are happy to take me in once I turn 19 to do an access course for nursing and midwiferyHowever I want to know whether this access course is recognised by universities as I’m also a care worker . Been working as a carer for 2 years who I puts me at an advantage

    Access courses are accepted as alternative qualifications but you need to check with your specific unis.
