Hello, I'm going to study in the UK this year and I've been looking around for accommodation. The student halls that my university offers start at 99 pounds per week. But on a site I found (http://www.rightmove.co.uk/student-a...984&sortType=1), a bunch of flats for rent are starting at ~50 pounds per week. Even luxurious ones are like 70-80 pounds per week, which honestly looks a bit too good to be true, comparing to the student halls. Is there anything I'm missing or can I really get them for so cheap?

It's not always the case but sometimes private can be cheaper than university owned,my halls were £20 a week cheaper than the same thing in university owned.
