I’ll be living at home for uni and travelling to London. It’s possible for me to get £7000 in maintenance loan per year. The only thing I will definitely need will be the travel card and books which will cost me about £2000 per year. If I take the full loan I will have £48000 debt at then end in comparison to £33000 if I only took what I absolutely need. I can’t work out whether it is worth taking the full amount, because how much I will have to pay in total for my course will be based upon my salary which I cannot predict over a 30 year period before it’s wiped. Thanks for the help.
It's impossible to answer. It depends on you and whether you feel you need it. You may have unexpected costs. (a new laptop, general course costs, etc) Are your parents expecting you to pay rent? Will you have a phone bill, etc?
Could you cope without Wifi?
