    its a tough question imo i doubt it would ever come up in the exam. the only thing they will probably ask is to do with further substitution in free radical substitution. And how that creates unwanted excess products. but i doubt this would ever come up

    Another question i was unsure on is how does the final distillation step,(when i add ethanol then nitric acid then silver nitrate) allow a check to be made on the identity and purity of the organic product
