I am currently in my final year at university. My average from my second year is 66.7 and this year it is 76.5 so far (from 2 out of 6 final year modules). I am thinking of applying for masters level study which requires a 2:1, I am aiming for a 1st but may still get a high 2:1.
Would it be best to apply with these grades on my academic transcript and defer my place (as I am taking a year off to work) OR wait until I have my final degree classification after graduation?

Apply now. If you’re unsuccessful in getting an offer then apply again after graduation.

Most people apply with their transcripts and if you are on track for at least a 2.1 you will be fine but if you plan to work there's no rush and you may change your mind later so apply when you are ready.
