I am doing the same course. What university did you study computer science and was it hard to get in to. What grade I need.
My gcse grade is BCCCDDD and MM in level 2 IT. How hard will it be for me to get in to a good uni and study computer science. I am currently getting distinction in my course
I am really worried that my gcse will let me DOWN.
Thank you

Do you have to get all distinction in all units to get D*D*D* including in your exams.
Well done in you offers

Thank you and yeh, pretty much. D*D*D* is 270/270 points. Then D*D*D is at 252/270. If you think about how many people failed/barely got a Pass in other colleges (talking about purely exam results), then D*D*D is the new D*D*D* for the students doing my spec. Btw, the Pearson board likes screwing around a lot. Just 2 days ago I found out that their recent change in exam grading system meant my grades would jump from DDD to D*D*D (given my coursework is all Ds). I could've gotten into my local RG uni with these grades if it was a month earlier but...welp what can ye do, firmed and unconditional for my local ex-poly.

Plenty of very good unis don't require maths

Check out: Surrey, Cardiff, Royal Holloway, Southampton (for IT), UCL (for ITMB).
