I'm gonna list John Foster and GMS :yep:

) but I'm gonna write I want anything in Oadby in the extra bit of the form :colonhash:

I got John Foster despite not sending my form off till the day after results day! So there is hope!

You could always pay a fortune on postage and get it to get there before 3pm or whatever it is :p:

Well we started on the Thursday of Freshers week and all exams for all courses (except medicine) finished on the 6th June.

If it's for your accomodation forms, just put 29th September 2009 till 30th June 2011 (or however long your course is!) or something. It's only a rough idea - they don't expect you to know exactly.

on the accomodation form it says "please attach photo", but it also says put 2 passport pics in an envelope. So I don't actually attach it do I? I send 2 pics off in the envelope? Or do I attach and send off the 2 pics :teeth:

My accommodation stuff hasn't been returned yet and it's seriously been over 3 weeks, I'm worried I'm not going to get what I wanted now :frown:

Guess I'll call them tomorrow...

I'm in the same situation. It's been weeks.
They sent me an email on Friday saying I should have something by Tuesday, and if not, then ring them.

On a side note, does anyone know when people without a loan pay their tuition fees? I know that student finance people provide proof with their accommodation packs and then it's automatically paid, but what do personal payment people do?

Yeah I'm in the same position, I thinkkkk that we pay it through a card on the Leicester finance section before registration, either that or the day you move in you pay. But I'm not sure! I'd like to know this also :teeth:

People paying their tuition fees without help from the SLC need to pay at least half of the total fees before registering on their course.

I presume that means you get the whole of Fresher's Week to pay the first installment and organize everything before lectures begin. I'm gonna pay mine before the end of September anyway.

On a side note, how much maintenance loan would you need approximately to live on for the first term, excluding accomodation fees? I'm talking for things like food, going out and travel etc.

Ermmm it depends which hall! I know GMS and John foster are the biggest halls, i can't remember how many are in each though :hmmmm:

And as for the kitchens it depends... self catered, catered? Self catered have bigger kitchens than catered. Catered generally have a little oven, a microwave a fridge/freezer and some surface.... quite small, just so you can prepare snacks etc. Then self catered kitchens are a lot bigger with more fridges/freezers and proper ovens.
As for pictures im afraid i can't help there :no:
