Accomodation thread..

Had a question about mobile phone signal too. I heard it's pretty atrocious at John Foster but few have said o2 gets good signal. Does anyone have any similar experiences?

Sorry I'm getting confused. There's a service you can get in halls where you get TV, but you have to get a licence as well.

I only got my forms this morning. :| And Monday is a bank holiday eek... do you think I'll be alright? I was hoping for JF or GMS en-suite but I doubt I'll get it either this late. The only plus is I have an unconditional offer but still, doubt it now.

I sent mine off on results day for self-catered, en-suite and put John Foster as first choice with GMS second and got in Bowder Court (GMS) so I presume all the John Foster rooms have been allocated.

Was it recorded delivery? I sent mine off the day after results day for next day recorded delivery. I hope i got JF en suite self-catered. If not that would be a waste of £4.60 postage

omg my friend just told me that she sent her form off on the 19th of august (thats five days after results day) and she managed to get her first choice of self-catered ensuite at john foster...so i think it's more than just 'first come first serve'...apparently they also consider the subjects you are doing...so i think that you can still send off your form now and get your first choice...unfair as it is!

Which Halls are the most sociable?

I wanna be in Oadby Student Village, but as for which halls exactly, I'm looking fotr advice.
