Is your form sent off now? I'm sure you'll get accommodation sorted if it's all been submitted. Ring them up tomorrow to check what's happening?

Leicester has a far better history course than Newcastle, you've lucked out :yep:

Yeah, I sent it recordered delivery on 20th August and it was delivered on 21st. Just getting a bit worried because everyone seems to have got their reply.

I'm quite happy that I'm off to Leicester and not Newcastle, will be more of a change and like you say, the History course is really good.

Sweet, what area of history are you interested in?

I would wait and see if you get anything in the post tomorrow, if not give them a call and check your applications progress :smile:

True for self catered too. You can buy them for about 7 quid in asda though :smile:

Or you could use the grill...

I asked for john foster and gms. I wanted self catered so I think thats why I'm in mary gee, the ones in oadby must be full. At first i was a bit disappointed but I hopefully won't be spending much time in accomm, so it won't matter much.

i applied to john foster and beaumont. wat were your four choices then? did you not put any catered downn?
are all the rooms in mary gee ensuite?

I didn't realise you had four choices. I picked two.

1st choice- Catered, ensuite Beatmont
2nd Choice- Catered, ensuite John Foster

I got my 1st choice but I sent mine off on the 14th Aug by Special Delivery :yep:

No, as far as I know, Mary Gee are not ensuite, but I may be wrong.

Yeah, I think Mary Gee is the overflow place now all the Oadby rooms are taken! I don't think wanting to be self-catered mattered much- I specifically said I wanted catered and they gave me Mary Gee, too! :s-smilie:

Never mind, it looks pretty nice and it's a lot closer to the uni than the Oadby ones! It's only a 15 minute walk away so that's a big bonus. Plus it's cheap enough that you'll probably save a bit including food over all the catered halls...

Yeah, definitely. Actually on the first page of this forum there's someone who wants to swap their GMS room for a self-catered so you might have luck there?

I put self catered ensuite, self catered washbasin, Catered ensuite, catered washbasin I think. I think everyone will be put in mary gee now, it seems that oadby is full.
