anomalous result

what is the anomalous result and how we could answer if there is a question talking about it? thanks for helping me and answering my question

An anomalus result is one that doesn't fit the patter as the rest of the results. For example if your data is going up by 2 or 1 units each step and then it suddenly goes up by 20 then back to 1, this will be your anomalus result as it doesn't fit the trend. It would depend on the question but you will probable have to spot it and define it.
are you referring to a graph or another type of data? It's the one result that doesn't fit in with the rest. You would answer it by explaining how it could have happened,
