I'd give Walter Harding Mourer's Sanskrit Reader to Karl Friedrich Christian Krause. maybe then Schopenhaur's stuff on Inidan phil would be more accurate/tolerable.

i would rather read Mein Kampf than Moab is my Washpot because.....

one of them is the disturbing account of the early years and criminal activities of a future megalomaniac; the other is a key source document in European history.
