MA Journalism?

Not much discussion on this on TSR

I am looking to pursue a Masters in Journalism, preferably in either Newspaper/Magazine Journalism (though I would not mind studying International Journalism)

Much of what I've read refers to City University as the Oxbridge of Journalism schools in the UK. I like that City is very practical in their course. Only downside is that it is not NCJT accredited. (Although, nowadays, breaking into journalism with a non-NCJT accredited Masters course is very common)

London Universities I am considering include:
Goldsmiths
City
Westminster
UAL (University of the Arts London)

SOAS offer MA International Journalism - whilst the topics are interesting, it doesn't look practical compared to the universities I've mentioned above. Looks very academic, from what I've seen there are no courses related to how to handle working in a newsroom.

Likewise LSE's Media and Communications Masters seems more academic than practical.

I'd be grateful if journalists/postgraduate journalism students can offer advice on which university would be right for a practical course.

Thanks
