Hey, I bought this book last summer published by Causeway Press but haven't read it yet. I bought it due to its lenght (it's quite big) and it seems very easy to learn with, plus it's in full colour and very well organised.
Has anyone heard of it? Does anyone know how it is?
yes, I think i used the fourth (or third) edition for a-level economics (AQA). Very useful. Its used as an a-level textbook so it must be the stuff you need to know i guess. what else would you like to know?
I think it's quite good at explaining things even if you have no general knowledge of anything. I literally hadn't even heard of GDP + didn't know what interest rates were when I first started economics. That book really cleared up a lot of concepts. It also gets sufficiently technical which is great.
Cool, thanks for your help. I'd also like to know if you can just look up something you don't know or if you'd recommend me to read the whole thing because it's useful and worth it... It's just so huge, it's got about 800 pages so it scares me a bit! But as it's in full colour and it's well organised, it doesn't look bad at all...
I'm reading some of it, good clear explanations but it's not ideal for self-study. Most of the questions can be answered from the text, but for some questions it would be nice if there were answers at the back!
