Passport - How long does it take?
I posted my passport application (just for a renewal) on Thursday (15th March) and got a text yesterday saying my new passport would be with me "within a few working days".
I had assumed that it would take about three weeks, so isn't this a bit soon? Is it just a glitch or did I just get lucky?

At busy times it is 4-6 weeks.
Assuming you didnt pay for the 7 day service, then you were just lucky and ot processed by an office with shorter queues.
