Business Management BSc - any good?

Hi Hillskid,

There's no real answer to your question especially 'is it worth paying 9K for?' - I am a current 3rd year Business Management and Marketing student at NTU, currently on placement.

The one major factor why i chose to do the course was the flexibility - I specialise in Marketing but the course does offer you the opportunity to explore different avenues such as accounting, economics etc. So it is greatly rounded to replicate the different aspects of business.

Another important aspect should be work-experience opportunities. Thoery will give you a good basis of knowlegde but being given the chance to go out on placement will give you a really great advantage after graduating.

I really enjoy my course as it is designed to reflect current real-world business environments. Over the course of my 3 years I have had a range of different projects to reflect this.

In terms of job prospects it depends what your career aspirations are as well as what sector you would like to go into. If you're not 100% sure what aspect of business you would like to persue then Business Management is a great course to give you a range of skills within the business environment.
