I just found out I have my French exam in 1 week and I have therefore done no revision yet. Shall I just leave it and hope for the best or do I have enough time to actually revise and get a good grade?

do some revision, no point cramming but you could try if you want to.
go over more of the obscure vocabulary and false friends just to get them in your head. if it's writing, go over some of the grammar rules + tenses.

You should revise to achieve a better grade rather than if you had not revised. As entertainmyfaith said, it depends on what exam you have (i.e. oral, reading, writing, listening) but you should focus on specific sections. However, the most important things to focus on should be vocabulary and tenses. Anything in bold is something you are strongly advised to look at/focus on for this exam.

For reading:
- Vocabulary
- Tenses

For writing:
- Tenses
- Vocabulary
- Connectives
- Justifications/Preferences - i.e. parce que/car j'aime/j'adore/je n'aime pas
- Negatives

For listening:
- Vocabulary

For oral:
- Opening phrases - i.e. a mon avis, je pense que
- Tenses
- Vocabulary
- Connectives
- Justifications/Preferences - i.e. parce que j'aime/j'adore/je n'aime pas...)
