Is it possible to be in love with someone you don't even know properly?

I have met these guy twice (through family friend's) and we have so much in common!

I first met him two years ago and I am seeing him next week and I never stop thinking about him and we're so similar.
I don't know if I used the world 'love' for this situation as of yet, probably more so very interested in infatuated by the person?
So tired of people using love lightly.
