England IS going to win the World Cup this year. Who agrees?
Yeah I agree, they always win. In fact maybe it would be nice for a change to let another country win.
England fans are are a remarkable blend of self hatred and delusional arrogance...
I'm stating the obvious but you can see the teams that win the World Cup coming from a mile off.
They are either stacked with world class players or play a game that is near impossible to stop. Often both.
England have neither. If England won it would be like a Greece or Portugal Euros win, but you don't see teams who are outsiders (to the extent those two were) winning the World Cup. It is always one of the elite teams.
I think it will be Brazil this summer and England might make the QF if they're lucky.
Not the association football one. Is there another- snooker perhaps, or darts?
No they are shizer, and, also I am pretty sure we'll get a lot of boos from Russia this year, and as England fans will be in Russia, I'm sure there will be scuffles and chair throwing.
England won’t even get past the group stage. I want Argentina to win, but that’s just hopeful thinking. Brazil, Spain and Germany have the highest chance of winning it in my opinion.
Lol England are getting to quarters or second round.
The good thing about England this year for me is the pace, tenacity and maturity of some of the younger players. Sterling for me has developed so much over the last two years, Kane has grown into a world-class forward, or at least fully established himself as one,(pains me to say as an Arsenal fan, f*cking hate that guy) Lingard has proved himself as a highly effective player, there's Rashford of course and Walker is strong.
I'm assuming your meme-ing when you say you think we'll win, we obviously won't, but I don't think a QF is beyond the realms of possibility, which would be a huge improvement over the last 10 years.
It’ll be a European elite team so that rules out England.
