Chill. I haven't registered for LNAT yet, there's still time.

Nor have I, I wanted my UCAS number ready to save having to go back putting it in later.

My excuse is sheer laziness.

So why bother with Oxford?

Good question.

I guess the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
Or why bother with Law at all?
Good grief. I look away for a couple of minutes, and the thread takes on a life of its own. And we're talking about eating puddings? In fact, I just got an email from said daughter - who, undoubtedly, should be doing something more productive at school - asking me to send her LNAT registration code. Silly girl - it's on the PC at home...
I don't need mean to come across as critical but is she forgetful? I do not mean this in an insincere manner. It's just if she does study Law at degree level...well you might imagine

I get forgetful at times
There has to be the basis of an excellent TV program in there - a lawyer with a poor memory. Or perhaps a detective with a poor memory? (Ah, no - that's been done - you're probably too young to remember Columbo...) Is she forgetful? I can't remember... Can you inherit a forgetfulness gene? If 'yes', she may well be... Alternatively, I have destroyed tens of millions of memory cells these past many years by subjecting them to a variety of biological, herbal and chemical assaults, and it could be that that has somehow transmitted itself to her. But with teenagers - well, this one at least - it's difficult to tell if they're forgetful or not. Because if you say to them "Have you forgotten to...?" the answer is invariably "NO. I was just going to do it!" I've learned not to ask...
I know Columbo. Never got to see her wife in the programmes I don't think. No idea if Rumpole was forgetful  Kavanagh QC and Judge John Deed have both forgotten important events in their lives
We could start a new thread - perhaps not appropriate here: "Favourite Legal People On TV/In Movies". My vote would go to Joe Pesci in "My Cousin Vinnie" every time... But we digress. That said: at very close to 4,000 views, the thread must be interesting some people. Come on you lurkers!

"I eat criminals for breakfast and lollipops for afters"
Go Kojak!
And Quincy of course. He inspired me mum to have urges to become a forensic detective

If she's sending off tomorrow Ian then it should get there in time.
Do you need to send the letter with the form registered/special delivery or just with proof of postage?
Acaila: what happened to 'huggus whorus'? Ndgaarondi: good question... I'll try and raise it casually with her.

Just decided on a change proclaiming that I am senior sycophant and spin doctor to the forum's future dictator, the wonderful Mr White.
Always a hug whore of course. It's still in the sig, and will no doubt go back in at some point.

I bet my school didn't get proof of postage or anything!! My poor application
However they did send me a letter yesterday so I know it's been processed
