you need to know all of your texts really well. learn quotes by putting them on flashcards with a short analysis on the other side. read your texts several times so that you know the storyline.
mindmap characters, themes and symbols. highlight key words, making a quote bank for certain characters can also be really useful.
cgp revision guides are pretty decent, especially for context- you need to understand the relevance of it to the story/play as it can help you explore the writer's purpose. i'd make notes on context too, highlighting key points and words.
poetry comparison, make sure all your poems are properly annotated, and then put these annotations into a small table with quotes, language features, structural features, context etc. learn your quotes- then consider central themes to poem- how could they be compared? make skeleton essays or essay plans with key ideas, an intro, quotes and a conclusion.
best way to revise for english lang is practice questions so you read texts better, and know your terminology so you can comment on all the features in the text.
