Securing an industrial placement! 2018/19

Just wanted to start a thread about industrial placement applications as I haven't seen many active ones! I have recently been successful at an assessment centre and have now managed to secure an industrial placement... If anyone would like any hints or tips or would like to hear my experiences throughout the application process (not just for this one but others too!) then feel free to ask me!

I'm studying business and management. The job I got was an analyst role in a multinational company & I sent of around 20-30 applications I think? Ive been sending them off since August last year!
