Should I Mention....?

Hey. I dropped off the psychology course at school because the teacher was absolute shite. I have been teaching myself nearly the whole year and I got an A for AS (100% in one module). Now this is one of my proudest acheivements and I really want to put it in my personal statement but I don't want to look like a troublemaker. So what do we think guys....do I mention it and if so how do I say it?

remember, the admissions tutors who read your PS will be the ones teaching you. No teacher likes to hear about other teachers being shit, even if it is true and the admissions will want to accept students who will be grateful etc.

so you are right, be tactful, don't explicitly say that the teacher was crap or that they didn't help. Just say you taught yourself Psy at home with great organisation and research skills.
