Possible to self teach English Lit by June 2019?

Long story short I regret not carrying on english after gcse. I loved it, and would be very dedicated in self studying it alongside my other subjects for June 2019.
My only worry is that Aqa says the coursework deadline for A level (linear) is 15th May. If I really worked hard I might be able ro just submit it in time but there's the issue still of 1) how would a predicted grade work? And 2) what if I sent coursework off and then found I couldn't cope studying lit anymore but had the coursework stuck at AQA?
Any tips? I want to do english at uni (I took lang/lit which I know some accept but I just have not enjoyed it and want the challenge of literature back) i would hsve a private tutor.
