I tried listening to Beethoven for a change, just to see if I could concentrate better, but I fell asleep within half an hour after starting haha
I usually listen to rock music that I already know lyrics to (So I could actually stay awake!) or work in silence
I'm the kind of person that listens carefully to lyrics of new songs so yeahhh

Yes but only background music. I find that I get distracted with songs that I know and end up concentrating on that and not the task that I need to do

Always I can't work when its silent tbh, I need something to really motivate me and it makes it more fun too (well not fun lol but more bearable )
That said, i know loads of ppl listen to like classical music but I cant bc i would fall asleep, it has to be fast, loud to really keep me going

Yeah but without headphones cos I can't concentrate with the rapping.

I'll try a day of revision without music.

I never listen to music while revising. But I tried to give it a shot last week and started listening "concentration music" on YouTube while studying economics. And honestly I simply wasted my time. I don't know how people do it, maybe their ability to selectively attend things is better.🙄
I was using earphone if it makes any difference.
