For part (a) - what do you know about trigonometry? Do you know what the sine of an angle is?

part a the answer is 12.1cm (1.d.p.) using the cosine rule

part a) you can use ordinary trig... SOH CAH TOA

part b) you need either the sine rule or the cosine rule

Part a) use trigonometry with the angle given, the 10cm length given, and sine
part b) the angle DBC is 56 degrees, so you can use the cosine rule with the 2 sides you already know from part a) and 18cm, with the angle DBC
