Well guys, I just rang!
The woman basically said we are allocated according to 2 dates- when we applied for accommodation, and when we had an unconditional offer. I asked her if being made unconditional later in the day on Thursday (as I missed my grades) would be the reason why I havent heard, and she said yes.
She just said to be patient and not to ring back for another week (*cries*) if i havent heard anything by then!

So im guessing firstly they got the people who got their grades out of the way first, which seems a bit unfair because some of those will not have applied till very late, but will have got their first choices.
Then I think they're sorting the people who didnt meet their grades in order of when they applied, so hopefully I should be near the top!

Although that doesnt explain why you guys who met your offer haven't heard yet. Ah well!

I'll probably phone soon then, as my UCAS track updated around 7-8am and I didn't miss my grades.

i feel for you guys, I was willing to put money on the fact everyone would of been allocated by today. seeing as there seemed to be an influx of people who got theres on saturday, i'd of put good money on the fact everyone would of by now.

I don't get it, I phoned just now and she said it also depends on what course you're doing. Thing is I know someone who's doing Eng Lang also and applied after me and so on that has their accom... so... blah.

It's understandable that people are anxious, after all it's a huge change for some people and of course they're eager to find out where they're living.
