Hm, well for a lot of people who are moving from very far away, unlike yourself, not hearing anything can't have made the whole situation any easier.

I really need to be put in Talybont because I just got a new job which is only within walking distance of Gabalfa, not Cathays or Penylan. However whether I get my message today, Thursday or in September doesn't make that much difference. It's nothing to stress about.

It's like you stressed all the way up to Results Day, and then went home and stressed about the next thing you could find. There was no publicised day for getting your allocation and you haven't been missed out.

Click here, then we can continue to moan and you don't have to know about it. Problem solved.
I was made an unconditional on the 11th, so that might be why I've heard already [along with applying ridiculously early.]

Although I feel bad for all you people who haven't heard yet, I know I'd be going crazy if I was in that situation :frown:.

S'really annoying though, I haven't accepted my room yet because I haven't opened the bank account yet from which I want to pay [doing that this afternoon], and they want me to put in all the details before I accept. I could just put in another savings account I have, but I have no idea how easy it would be to change the details once I've put them in... hmm.
According to my Track, I was made unconditional on the 13th! Lol. Still not heard a peep... grr.

I was made unconditional on the 11th too. Definite pattern there. xD

I've decided to stay with HSBC and not go through all the hassle of getting an account with Natwest. Me sho lazy.:p:

Haha, yeah, along with it being architecture .

I wish I didn't have to change, but I've only got a savings account with Britannia, and I doubt they'd let me set up a direct debit. And I need a debit card too, which I can't get with them. Aaah effort.
I gotta go in to the bank today and pester them for a credit card. Mummy keeps telling me I need one but I keep telling her that it's just going to lead to trouble. xD
I opened an account with Natwest today, took ages!

I got the Student Railcard though, will defiently help me when I go home and go to visit friends in Swansea.
I was made unconditional on the 11th August, hmm :/

I got my offer today, i'm in Taly Court (1st choice), House 2, Fourth Floor. Oooer i'm in the 'unsociable' residence! :P we'll see about that lol. I'm just a bit worried about the price :frown:
Unsociable residence!? What does that mean!?

I put Tally Court as my first and it's making me abit anxious all these people getting offers, but me still having nothing!

Was made Unconditional on the 11th like most people, and applied in March.

I think that in previous years it was thought of as unsociable because it was the new accommodation and quiet people seemed to go for it.
Doesn't seem the case this year!

Alright, I'm going to come back to this thread once I actually hear something from them :/

Probably tmi, but being homeless before is putting me on edge quite a bit more about this so... yeah.
Wow. I was shocked. I didn't expect to hear anything for a bit longer. Turns out:

Talybont North. House W. Flat 7. Room 2. [First choice and everything...] According to Facebook's Taly North group, so far, it's me and two gals. And everyone on Facebook in House W happens to be female so far too. Shocking.

I've been wondering how it's ''done''. I think it's by course code. My friends have been codes like H, M, and such, and I'm R... so I think it works that way. I may be totally wrong though...in which case ignore me.

I was made unconditional on 13th and haven't heard yet. I'm not stressing yet though, there'll be plenty of time for that when i don't get my first choice or something lol
(Also off topic but Catatonic Stupor, listening to the Decemberists - nice! )

E-mailed them today as I'm anxious because I'm off on holiday with the lads on Thursday for a week, here's what I got from them:

We are hoping to allocate all of our students within two weeks of becoming unconditional.
