i know exactly where cathays school is! is the garage you're talking about opposite a newish looking building with a subway, dominos, etc? thats a bit further down from the school isnt it?

Yea there's a bit of that all around there. The garage is all plate glass and sells Lotus cars and faces straight down the road with the Talybont South road entrance at the bottom.
I know where it is :smile: Am i right in thinking that if you are driving past talybont court (court on your right), you can just about see talysouth if you look to your left? Im sure i spotted a kind of residency looking place today!

No no no no no. You can see bits of Talybont South between the trees behind the petrol station just before Talybont Court (if you're heading towards town). The entrance is back about 150 metres up the road though.

:p: no promises kids. But like I said, I'm in a student house and I don't see why we can't all gather there one night in the first week with pizza and a few bottles. So long as people promise not to trash the place/have sex in my bed XD

I think I'm going to visit Cardiff a couple of weeks before I move, just to get my bearings before I'm actually there!

Oh, and I'm in house 17 in Talybont South, seems pretty far away from you guys in houses 1 and 2!

I didn't. Well, they were my third choice. I basically took the map, went where's the humanities building...and then picked my accomodation in order of proximity :p:

As to where they are in relation..I don't know, but it's on the same road as Colum hall and literally round the corner from the humanities building!

Ah cool, seems like pretty much everything is easy to get to anyway.
Ooh, whilst I remember, is there anyway anyone can give me a rough idea of what is said in the 'survival guide' on the cardiff website? for some reason it won't load on my computer and just crashes all the time.
