I think it is a historian thing because i'm doing ancient history and archaeology and haven't heard anything either lol!
Haha, well we do have something of a reputation for being lazy! I'll probably see you around since I'm doing Ancient History, and I'm probably taking archaeology for my extra credits in first year =D
I'm in house 17 too, ground floor, flat 1 If you go on the Talybont South facebook group there seems to be alot of people in the house so far. And the good news is that house 17 is right next to the laundrette and shop!
Aww yay! Yeah, I haven't checked out the Facebook group yet, I should probably have a look! And I had no idea that we were so close to the shop!
I got my letter from English Language and Communication yesterday. I hope the Humanities building is easy to find, I'm not too good with directions and the like!

So did I! I'm doing Language Studies and English Literature, and I got my reading list for that today too!
I'm Senghennydd Court, House N. How do you know if it's a Welsh-speaking flat? Would hope I didn't get put in one!
Ditto
on the accommodation application you could tick if you wanted to be put in a welsh flat. I'm in senghennydd court house f, and I think there are some welsh flats there (as I've discovered on senghennydd court's facebook group), but I'm in an English flat, so I guess they're mixing as opposed to leaving one house just for welsh students.
