It says on the website you must enrol before midnight on 21st of september.

So for the people who have had details about enrolment, did you just get an email with your username and password, and then voila, bob's your uncle?! I hope the email or something through the post comes soon anyhow.


Two letters in the post and two emails. the letters and emails were exactly the same as each other.

Ahh I received both emails this afternoon, so in the middle of enrolling now.

Umm it's basically registering with the university. You confirm if all the details are correct, where you'll be living, how much you need to pay, how will you pay it etc. Well that's as far as I've got so far anyhow
I got my enrolment stuff done, so now that's all finished. I like how I owe £0 for my fees :P

I got a Cardiff email address that doesn't work, wahey, haha

Haha, well I do have some fees to pay but luckily it's not the full amount (thank you Assembly of Wales) (and thank you loan and grant when you will come into my bank account).

And yes! The email address doesn't work for me either! Ah the joys of technology.

I thought I did something wrong. Then I knew I did something wrong when a big yellow box took over the screen and said "Your account has been locked. Please contact your administrator". Let's hope nothing important gets sent there on the first day, eh? :rolleyes:
Argh I don't think I can enrol until I've got my bank account sorted properly. The details of which I need to change for the loans aswell. GOD I wish they'd just get on with it :frown:.
I'm in the middle of enrolling now. now problems past 'this servise is not available due to upgrade. It will be available for access after july 29th...' but thankfully going back and then forward removed tat. Not looking forward to the bank stuff...
I just tried to log in, and then it said something about access denied. :rolleyes: Oh I can't be bothered right now.

And what's the deal with this health questionnaire... I have NO IDEA when I've had which immunisation, I had them at school so I don't see why my GP should know either.. :/

Hmmmmmmmm it said to me....Student Loans Company £1255. Then below that.....something about 'amount you are liable for - £1855'....Is this correct....I pressed No....and now it won't let me continue :frown:

Anyone else really confused about the tuition fee grant thing?

Ditto.....was it to do with the Welsh Assembly Grant thing? Your form showing 1255 instead of the full amount etc etc.....?


No im not Welsh so i apply through SAAS

basically i get 2 loans and a bursary.

the bursary and the loan for living costs get paid directly to me, the bursary from SAAS and the loan from SLC. Three installments over the year. Thats all fine.

The loan for tuition fees gets paid directly to the uni on my behalf. This is for the full 3145. In effect, SAAS is my "sponsor" (at least this is what im lead to believe)

When i got to the page about fees it said there was no sponsor "Is this correct yes/no" so i clicked no.

and below it said "amount still to be paid by you £3145 is this correct - yes/no"

The next page just said i need to wait till someone contacts me to resolve the issue.

I had to ring the fflipin county for my immunisation records...well when I say "I" I actually mean my mother. But I went to my GP first and they gave me a number to call, because yes I got them in school too and my school was in a different county to my GP's. So yeah. What a load of nonsense! If we had any kind of contagious disease last place we would go is college to spread it along! Well I guess they have to do these things
