They can state whatever they want. Fact of the matter is that you certainly dont need to contact them. Infact by doing so you just provide them with your name at the address and so they can direct their harrasing spam mail to you more easily.

Dont waste the time or money contacting them.

Will they have TV ariels in halls? or will i have to try and get tv though some form of make-shift coat hanger?

Just kidding, I actually don't have a clue. I don't think I'll bother with bringing a TV, I watch it for about half an hour once a week at my friend's if I'm lucky. Not exactly worth the £130 TV licence in my opinion. If I'm bored I have the internet or I'll draw or read or something...

My friend has Sky TV in his halls across the road from me anyway so I'll just go and leech off him if I'm desperate.

I'm feeling a tad left out as I'm not moving in until late on Saturday so I'm off to sulk for a couple days :P Good luck/have fun all, haha.
