Assuming I get in, I'll be moving in on the first possible day - don't want flatmates etc to have met and made friends with each other before I turn up etc...

ahhh ok, i was just worried that i'd roll up and there'd be no one there!

Im travelling from Scotland so ill probs come down a day or so early and move in as soon as possible.
This has probably been answered earlier, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows when abouts we actually find out what accom we got? I know Royal Holloway people have already got theirs mostly by now.
If your offer is conditional, we don't find out until after results I'm afraid.

*shudders* I don't want to think about results day.

Why, do you think you did badly? I guess there's always some uncertainty in it though which makes you uneasy. I'm both excited and apprehensive.

I didn't do nearly enough work:rolleyes: My boyfriend is in America for the whole summer and so my priorities got a bit confused. Made sense at the time, but now I'm a bit:eek:
I'm pretty sure* that I'll have got my Cardiff offer, but I'll be upset if I don't get AAA:redface:

My offer's for BBB and I had BBD (due to both final English exams being in the summer) before my final exams so I'm just counting on English really. I have no possibility of getting AAA though really, the highest I can get is AAB realistically.

Either way I'd better meet my offer because I shut myself in and worked 24/7 x_x

Well good luck  I'm sure you'll have done brilliantly.

I'm banking on teh fact that I got all As last year, and my coursework should be of Agrade standard so I could afford to drop on the exams. Just history that's concerning me..and since that's what I'm going on to study....
We'll see on 14th August! and hopefully see you in Cardiff in September

Yeah, I had a quick look at your profile and it looks like you did really well, so I'm sure you'll get three A's no problem. I'm not *too* worried about myself either.

If you want to add me on MSN feel free, it's linked on my profile. I think it's kind of cool to talk to people before going (that goes for anyone else who's bored/wants to talk too, hahah).

Will do!

Same goes for me, kids.

Is anyone here a member of the various facebook uni freshers groups?

I've joined the most official-looking one for all the freshers, and my subject (Music)'s group as well, which is really friendly.

By the way, I have been assured by a few people that Cardiff is quite lenient on people missing their offer by a grade or two, because they'd much rather accept the people they have know (especially if they interviewed you!) than get new people. But it will depend a lot on the level of demand there is for your course. According to UCAS, there are still a few EXTRA places for my course, and also, the actual offers they've given for my course range from AAB (girl who lives right next to me) to BBC (someone I've met through Facebook), and I'm slap bang in the middle of that (ABB), so hopefully if I miss an A but get BBBBb overall then I'll still be ok.

Oh, and my MSN is:
I'll post my msn on here IF AND ONLY IF i get in :frown:
does anyone hate the waiting and just want their results NOW?xx

Yeah, I'm kind of okay with waiting though, not sure if I'm ready to find out yet. Then again I just want it over with, hahahah.

I hate the waiting to find out weather you're in or not! I want to go out and buy knifes and forks and a duvet etc etc, but i don't think i should until everything is confirmed!
As i did a BTEC i unoffically know that i have met my offer (have to wait until results day for this to be confirmed though), but because im doing Nursing I have to wait to see if their is enough bursuries for me.

Fingers crossed for all of you!

And if anyone wants to add me to MSN here you go

Edit: nevermind, just looked at the other thread.

I forgot to put down Colum Hall on my application whatsoever, feeling like a bit of an idiot x_x

I put down student housing as like, my 9th choice, but I reaaally don't want to go. I put all the Talybont options up until #6, so do you think it's likely I'll get put there?

Had my offer too:smile:

EDIT: I am now officially Colum Hallish. If anyone else has problems clicking buttons on the payment set-up page, use the 'Tab' button to navigate between fields in order to reach the 'Next' button and then hit 'Enter'
Ooooh i havnt heard yet :frown: My sister just heard she had an unconditional offer and got her first choice!

I've already got my grades but i'm doing nursing so i have a conditional offer. Hopefully i will here soon! :frown:
