GCSE and A-Level (Access Course) predicted results at the same time

So recently I got to talking with a college near me and they said they’d accept me into an Access Course with the condition that I do 2 GCSE evening courses on the side (though I’m going to do 3, because the University course I’m interested in requires 3 GCSEs).

For a bit of background, I really messed up in my GCSEs back in school (I’m 21 now) because of some home problems, and have decided recently that I want to actually do something with myself.

Anyway, how will this work on my UCAS application? Will Universities still give me a chance if they see I’m doing GCSEs and an Access Course at the same time? I’m confused.
Depending on the course and uni, yes.
Yes - they will just make the offer conditional on grades within your Access course AND grades in the GCSEs you are taking.

Make sure on your application that you list all your origonal GCSEs and the new ones (even if you are retaking some of the same subjects, you must list the original results as well)
