Hi, I’m currently studying BTEC Business level 3 - unit 8 recruitment and selection.
Could someone please explain what to do for
M1 - Analyse the different recruitment methods used in a selected business.
And
D1 - Evaluate the recruitment processes used and how they contribute to the success of the selected business.

This would be much appreciated as I don’t understand at all - it’s too confusing.

Wondered if anyone has got anything to help with btec business unit 8 learning aim B and C. I am using HSBC as my business and I am struggling, it is due in a few days :frown:

Hey I can help you with that, B is essentially you have to showcase the skills used in an interview and demonstrate how the recruitment process is done, my college did it by pairing us up and then letting us write a script where we showcase how an "interview" is properly done, C is the reflection of all that, you give feedback to you partner and then you reflect on that and the whole thing in general.

Try looking at the qualification spec, it will help you loads.

i’m just struggling to understand in general. my teacher thinks that we’re at that stage where we don’t need help sheets anymore so i have no idea what i’m doing :frown:

I'm not entirely sure if this is your spec, but here's a link:

Page 47 is the start of Unit 8 and should give you an idea of the content you would (or should) have covered in class. Hopefully this will give you more guidance, if you haven't already seen it :smile:
