Moving in with Partner

So I'm currently in the 2nd year of my degree and I previously lived with my mum and was entitled to the full SAAS amount due to her being in the lowest income bracket but I'm planning to move in with my BF over summer.

Will I have to change and be classed as an Independent Student as I'm living with a partner now? The SAAS website says 'living with partner before the start of the first academic year' (which I wasn't) but also says 'living with partner before the start of the academic year we are assessing you for' (which I now will be). I don't know which one is correct and was wondering if anyone else had moved in with their non-student partner mid way through their degree? :smile:
