Is EPQ useful for Medicine/Dentistry?

I'm contemplating whether to do EPQ in year 13 or not. I understand it would be a lot of work and time consuming hence why I'm quite hesitant but it would also reflect my passion for the area as well as skills learnt. How useful is EPQ for med and dentistry and is it worth it? Do Unis value it to a great extent?

There are two advantages to doing an EPQ
1. It can normally get your offer dropped by a grade.
2. It can make you more interesting for interview and help you stand out a bit.

1. Is unlikely to apply with Medicine. Check the unis entry policy and EPQ.

You have other things such as grades, experience Ukcat and interview to worry about.
